The canister diameter was so gargantuan (like over 2 ft!) I just couldnt make it work in my small space (garage). Also, I wouldve needed to run another 220V outlet if I were to put it where I really wanted it. The "standard" HF Dust collector is ostensibly a 2HP 1500CFM unit (Ive owned one of those too).
